Redhead Express- You Heard it Here first

It would have been great to have seen Elvis when he was just a brand new performer, or the Beatles or ABBA in their early years. Young and fresh and enthusiastic.

We had the opportunity to see a group, performing here in our very own park, who are on the brink of a great recording career. Called the Redhead Express, they are four beautiful young ladies, all red heads, who are part of the Walker family. Mom and Dad, Apryl and Brett, four girls and three boys. Originally from Alaska, now based in Nashville; this family act travels all over the USA, often camping in tents, performing in all sorts of venues from Illinois to Branson Missouri to our little RV park while managing to keep each show fresh and fun. The family stayed in our park while they were in the Rio Grande Valley and they were such a pleasure to have around, friendly, engaging and enthusiastic.

The girls are now having an album produced by Paul Worley, who has also produced the Dixie Chicks and Lady Antebellum. An exciting time for them.

The boys are being groomed to have their own act much like their sisters and they do a great duelling banjos number.
This family has worked hard and sacrificed much to achieve success. Watch for them at the Emmys. Maybe Best New Recording Artists of the Year. Remember you heard it here first.
